IES Santo Domingo, It is an educational institution that offers secondary, high school and vocational training in the maintenance of health and sports facilities. With approximately 1000 students and 100 teachers, we are committed to academic excellence and holistic development. In Almería we face challenges such as water scarcity and climatic conditions; We undertake projects such as Erasmus’ «We want to breathe free» and Aid in Action’s «Just One Planet». While intensive agriculture and greenhouse cultivation affect the environment in our region, tropical trees in Motril also threaten groundwater. We strive for sustainable solutions by protecting local biodiversity and acknowledging the impact on species such as Magribi and artho. At IES Santo Domingo, we train not only the minds but also the hearts that give to the environment. We are a school where education and environmental awareness combine to create a more sustainable future. |
